We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, strong supervisory skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play an important role in coordinating the daily housekeeping operation, supporting Room Attendants and Porters and ensuring that guest rooms, corridors and all areas under your responsibility are maintained to the exceptional standards expected within Red Carnation Hotels.

As a member of the housekeeping team, our colleagues and guests expect an individual whose,

  • Coordinating the daily housekeeping operation to ensure all 28 guest rooms, corridors and allocated areas are maintained in line with the performance manual and hotel standards.
  • Supervising Room Attendants and Porters throughout the shift, providing clear direction and support.
  • Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and public areas as required, supporting the team to ensure service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Leading from the front through a hands-on approach and completing all housekeeping duties.
  • Preparing and allocating Room Attendant sections and porter duties.
  • Inputting and monitoring room status in the computer system throughout the shift.
  • Assisting in the training, coaching and development of team members.
  • Helping to motivate the team and maintain high standards of service, presentation and productivity.
  • Assisting in the control and issuing of keys.
  • Supporting the preparation of rotas to ensure there is adequate cover at all times.
  • Handling guest requests professionally and ensuring any issues are followed up promptly.
  • Leading by example through a professional appearance, positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction. appearance, clothing and general demeanour reflect the high standards of Red Carnation Hotels.

You will bring confidence, professionalism and a positive attitude to your work, recognising that guest satisfaction through service and performance is of paramount importance., Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-quality hospitality environment.

  • Previous supervisory experience or experience supporting and guiding a housekeeping team.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.
