Key Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie:
- Deliver exceptional diningexperiences for guests, ensuring dishes are of the highest quality.
- Work closely with the Head Chefin planning menus and preparing food.
- Follow recipes and presentationstandards consistently and precisely.
- Maintain portion control andminimise waste to uphold profitability and sustainability goals.
- Monitor food stock levels andensure product quality aligns with hotel standards and occupancy.
- Supervise and support juniorchefs and kitchen porters in their daily tasks.
- Mentor team members on RedCarnation culinary standards and creative presentation techniques.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience working as aChef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-quality or luxury hospitalitysetting.
- A genuine passion for food andpresentation, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellence inevery dish.
- A strong understanding of foodsafety, hygiene, and allergen procedures, with relevant certifications being anadvantage.
- Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills, ensuring service runs smoothly even during busy periods.
- The ability to lead and mentorjunior kitchen staff, supporting the development of a collaborative andmotivated kitchen team.
- A proactive and adaptableapproach, with the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business andteam.
- The ability to stay calm underpressure, showing resilience and a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
