This position is responsible for ensuring that all employees follow relevant Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) legislation, along with associated policies and procedures.
The role will promote continuous improvement and support a cultural shift toward greater awareness and accountability, while taking a practical approach that aligns with the operational needs of the business.
Role responsibilities:

Conduct workplace inspections, track corrective actions, monitor trends, and support SHE compliance across the campus.

Deliver inductions, return-to-work and pregnancy risk assessments, and general employee SHE supports.

Coordinate SHE training, manage communications (e.g. intranet updates, reports, and presentations), and support performance tracking.

Ensure timely incident follow-up, including investigation, information gathering, and assigning responsible parties.

Liaise with Occupational Health providers, manage appointments, and follow up on system issues and discrepancies.

Administer the SHE management system, support audits, assist with DSE assessments, and contribute to ongoing SHE initiatives and strategy.
Requirements for the role:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety (essential), with other relevant SHE qualifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Experience in F1, Motorsport, or Automotive sectors is beneficial but not essential.

Familiarity with ISO standards (development, implementation, and auditing) is advantageous.

Proactive and team-oriented, with a flexible approach to supporting other business areas.
