Expected knowledge, experience & attributes of the successful candidates:
- Knowledge and experience from at least one year of undergraduate study on either an engineering, mathematics or physics degree course
- A solid understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply mathematical methods to solve real-world problems
- Familiarity with engineering software such as CAD, FEA, CFD
- Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB of other similar programming languages
- Familiar using Linux and command line applications
- Ability to follow best practice and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment
- Ability to break complex technical problems down to fundamental principles and understand the contributing physics
- Ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for engineering through involvement in extra-curricular projects, previous placements, or work experience
