Red Bull Technology (RBT) has an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student to spend a year as part of ourElectronics team. The placement will run from the summer of 2025 for one year and offer the opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in an open and dynamic environment.

Based on our Milton Keynes campus, this placement opportunity will give you full exposure to real Formula 1 engineering. Helping to drive innovation and efficiency within the business, you will be working closely with the Directors, team and senior leaders within RBT.

The main accountabilities of the role are:

  • Help identify and develop best practice methods, processes, and tools to enable the Electronics department to meet priorities and deadlines to delivering documentation.
  • Review our suite of documentation for Design Standards and Manufacturing Codes of Practice; sanitise, remove duplication and where possible reduce the word count. Ensure all of our documents are relevant and up to date.
  • Review the Document storage, publishing process and access interfaces for internal and external access.
  • Assist in developing the technical content within our standards, working closely with Designers, Manufacturing and the Heads of department.

Key Attributes:

  • Working towards an engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to organise, manage and direct projects and people gained from projects or previous internships.
  • Understanding of a company’s internal and external communication.
  • Suitably skilled in the use of MS Office software and PC literate (preferred Formula 1 database experience, manufacturing system knowledge, expert in MS Excel & Project)
