We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice within our Quality Inspection Team. Working from our state-of-the-art campus in Milton Keynes, you will be immersed into the heart of our manufacturing facility which includes some of the industry’s most impressive technology, supporting the manufacturing of critical chassis components. The Structural Integrity Quality Assurance and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Departments are responsible for ensuring that all the parts used on our Formula One car are to the correct quality and specification.
As part of our open minded, dynamic & inclusive environment, working alongside our championship winning team, not only will you gain specialist skills but also a Level 3 qualification all whilst making a valuable contribution to our success.
Your role:
- To work with the Shift Leaders and wider team to understand the priorities and deadlines, ensuring that the department, staff and company resources are utilised effectively.
- Operate with an independent and efficient approach to ensure the often-tight deadlines are met.
- Play an active role in seeking constant efficiency increase through innovation.
- To understand supplier relations and how to develop these.
- To understand and respect the confidentiality of the company’s intellectual property, assets, procedures, and operational structure at all times.
- To support the wider team in terms of departmental matters.
To be considered you will need:
- To be a resident in the UK for the past 3 years with no long periods abroad (over 30 days).
- To be willing to attend our assessment centre onsite at our Milton Keynes Technology Campus (date in June/July TBC).
- 5 GCSE's grade 9 – 4 (A*- C) including Maths, English and Science.
- A passion for winning, with a good working ethic and willingness to learn.
- Team spirit, creativity, sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Able to travel daily to our Milton Keynes Campus.
