We are looking for an experienced Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Aerodynamics Performance Group in our highly successful Formula One team. This exciting opportunity based at our Milton Keynes Campus will primarily involve supporting our Race and Aerodynamics Teams through the analysis of Track, Wind Tunnel and CFD data.

Your Impact:

  • Contributing to the development of new analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Attendance at test events.
  • Advising on development directions.
  • Pre-event setup optimisation.
  • Management of aerodynamic datasets.

What we look for:

  • Extensive experience working within Formula One, gaining exposure to both Wind Tunnel and CFD development.
  • Previous experience in an Aero Performance role and a grasp on the fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics.
  • Engineering degree with a specialisation in Aerodynamics.
  • A thorough understanding of the principles of Aerodynamics and their application to Formula One.
  • Extensive experience of data analysis tools and techniques with a focus on correlation between environments.
  • A good understanding of numerical modelling techniques and experience with handling large and complex datasets.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving and innovative thinking.
  • A flexible approach and good communication skills.
  • An ability to deliver results under pressure to tight deadlines.
