Job Description
Are you ready to play your part in a World Championship-winning Formula One team?
At Red Bull Racing, we don’t just build cars, we engineer performance, push limits and chase perfection every time the lights go out.
We’re excited to be building a brand-new Garage team for
7 Garage Technicians and 2 Junior Garage Technicians to join our F1 Race Team and deliver flawless support for our trackside team, working at the cutting edge of Formula One innovation.
The role will entail being responsible for the build, maintenance, reliability and safe transportation of Red Bull Racing’s pit and garage equipment.
This is a unique chance to be a part of our Championship-Winning race team, travelling globally and having a key and recognisable impact at our race weekends.
- Role Responsibilities
- Ability to work across 2 garage crews for 12-14 events per year (leap frogging events).
- Make sure that team presentation, at both the factory, race weekends, and at remote events, is always of the very highest quality.
- Full Garage setup and maintenance experience, from Garage build and breakdown to garage presentation and security.
- Freight Logistics experience – air, sea, and road.
- To help set up trucks, garage and support equipment ensuring they are always maintained to the highest possible standards of reliability and presentation.
- To ensure that all instructions and procedures are followed regarding packing and documentation of parts and equipment for events by either road, air or sea freight.
- Able and willing to support the Race teams and Heritage teams across global environments and unsociable hours, as required.
Requirements for the role
- Full UK driving licence required (HGV license would be advantageous but essential) and the ability to drive manual vehicles abroad.
- Forklift License (Training will be given at Junior Garage Tech level) with ability/experience in using other manual handling equipment.
- Experience within a professional motorsport garage background.
- Experience delivering high quality work within tight deadlines and shifting priorities on your own initiative, whilst also being a strong team player who is keen to learn & progress.
- Additional skill set would be advantageous – ex-'Tradie' or relevant hands‑on college‑level qualifications would be preferential.
- Happy to lead, supervise, and upskill Junior Technicians.
Please note that this isn't a job in our pit crew/car build team.
The duties will be to transport and build the garage itself on event weekends, and then breaking down and bringing the garage equipment back.
At Red Bull Racing, we push the limits, fight for every victory, and get things done with relentless focus.
Joining us means being part of a high-performance team that thrives on collaboration, trust, and ambition.
We celebrate wins, learn from challenges, and take our work seriously but not ourselves.
Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy
- On-site gym
- Free daily food allowance
• And many more!
Most importantly, you’ll play a key role in powering championship-winning cars. If you're ready to be part of something extraordinary, and help shape the future of F1.
