Working within the Technology & Analysis Tools department from our Milton Keynes campus, this is an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant contribution to the technology behind the aerodynamics of the car. Our tools design the fastest and most extreme race cars on the planet, you will work on complex and challenging problems supporting the wind tunnel, CFD and the overall aerodynamic performance. You will help us deliver performance on the racetrack, and work towards our goal of winning the next F1 world championship. We want to work with people who are excited by this challenge and have the talent and motivation to deliver state-of-the-art software in a uniquely fast-paced environment.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
  • A solid grasp of the fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • A desire to work on the full stack and owning development from idea to deployment
  • An interest in working in multiple programming languages and developing as a polyglot programmer
  • The ability to work independently and a continual desire to learn about new technology, language features and frameworks
  • Previous experience in C# either at university, or in your own projects or commercially
  • High standards for code quality, performance, user experience, and testing
  • Excellent communication skills

Bonus points for:

  • An interest in Formula 1 racing!
  • Familiarity with container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes
  • A GitHub profile with a portfolio of example projects
  • Previous experience in Python, TypeScript or SQL
