- Implement and refine numerical optimization and optimal control algorithms within the simulation environment
- Utilize the simulation software to generate data, critical for engineering, calibration, testing, and operation of the PU on dynos
- Support on-car PU performance analysis, optimization, and offline calibration generation as the team supports on track running for the 2026 and future seasons
- Support customer team Driver In the Loop and track testing either in person or remotely
- Support works and customer teams with information required for car engineering, such as fuel cell sizing, brake sizing and cooling system specification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation outputs align with real-world testing and operational requirements
What we’re looking for:
- A degree with a 2:1 minimum in an engineering subject or related field
- Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink
- Exposure to embedded software development
- Previous lap simulation experience in F1 or other racing series is desirable
- Knowledge and experience of numerical optimization theory and application
