In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in guiding our QA team and ensuring that all components meet the required quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a collaborative, high-performing team within the department and wider businessMaintain high standards of quality and health & safety across all activitiesEnsure team members have the tools, equipment and environment needed to work effectivelyIdentify and develop team capability, ensuring the right skills are in place across shiftsWork closely with Production Control to deliver priorities and ensure smooth progression of partsSupport efficient department performance and on-time delivery to internal customersProvide clear updates on performance, issues and risks within the departmentEnsure components meet required specifications (dimensional, material, revision and processes)Liaise with engineering to resolve issues, raising and progressing non-conformances as neededMaintain accurate data and reporting within business systems (e.g. inspection reports, NCRs)Drive continuous improvement and support efficiency initiativesPromote clear communication and alignment within the team and with key stakeholdersMaintain a clean, organised and compliant working environmentKey CompetenciesStrong leadership qualities and confidence leading teams in different locations.
