At Red Bull Racing & Technology, we don’t just compete - we innovate, disrupt, and push beyond the limits of performance. We are driven by relentless ambition, cutting‑edge technology, and the determination to win at every level.

The purpose of this role is to enhance vehicle performance by deepening the understanding and analysis of tyre behaviour. It involves leading and contributing to tyre‑focused projects through the development and application of simulation tools, the evaluation of track and rig data, and the planning and execution of rig‑based tests. The position is primarily factory‑based, with a strong emphasis on advancing offline simulation capabilities and improving overall tyre knowledge.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Advance tyre simulation and modelling: Support the development of tyre simulation tools, focusing on offline and DIL tyre model creation, refinement, and correlation to real‑world behaviour.
  • Apply tyre mechanics expertise: Use strong knowledge of tyre mechanics and experience with thermo‑mechanical tyre models to improve modelling accuracy and data‑fitting methods.
  • Lead measurement and analysis processes: Contribute to tyre measurement activities, enhance analysis techniques, and interpret performance trends and their impact on car performance.
  • Support trackside and operational activities: Provide tyre performance support at races, tests, and simulator events, including pre‑event guidance, issue investigation, and post‑event analysis.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration: Coordinate with the tyre supplier and internal groups (Race Engineering, VPG teams), and help promote the use of simulation methods to address tyre‑related performance questions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Deep understanding of tyre dynamics, tyre modelling methods, and solid grounding in core vehicle dynamics principles.
  • Strong interest in high‑quality data analysis and ensuring accuracy in findings.
  • Able to present information clearly and confidently, especially under pressure.
  • Willingness to adapt working hours and reliably meet demanding deadlines.

At Red Bull Technology, we’re more than a Formula 1 team - we’re a high‑performance innovation hub, pushing the limits of what’s possible. We thrive on big ambitions, bold engineering, and a relentless drive to win. Our success is built on trust, collaboration, and the belief that the best ideas come from those who dare to challenge the norm.

Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • A pension scheme
  • On‑site gym
  • Free daily food allowance
  • And many more!

But above all, you’ll be part of a world‑class team, powering cutting‑edge technology and driving championship‑winning cars. Ready to take on the challenge? Apply now and be part of the future of F1.
