With Red Bull Powertrains development well underway, we have an exciting position for an experienced Stores Person. This position offers the opportunity to join our team in which it will support the continued success of our Championship Winning Team. The Red Bull Powertrains Stores and Goods-In Departments play a key role in the smooth running of all areas of the engine development.
The successful candidate will ideally have current or very recent experience of working in a high-pressured, results driven stores environment, preferably within the Motorsport or Aerospace industries. This role requires you to work nights with some overtime and ad-hoc weekend shifts when required. You will ensure that material handling is executed to the highest possible standard. Traceability of stock, maximising accuracy levels and the receiving and storage of parts efficiently are all paramount.
The Stores Person will work closely with various departments to ensure parts are delivered to race/test events and third-party suppliers in a timely and efficient manner, as well as collaborating closely with planners and buyers to advise on potential shortages and delivery schedules. Picking parts to works orders under tight time constraints whilst maintaining an important level of accuracy is essential. Stock takes and cycle counts are also undertaken regularly.
The Stores Departments make extensive use of computer-based stock management software; therefore, computer literacy and knowledge of software ERP systems is an absolute necessity. Current holder of a Counter-Balance forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential. You need the ability to work well without direct supervision, so self-motivation and elevated levels of attention to detail are key attributes.
Not only is this fantastic Stores Person position, but it is also a fantastic team to work with here at Red Bull Technology. A good salary is just the start, there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, workplace nursery scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on site gym & fitness classes, free daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn’t get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to our championship winning grand prix cars.
