We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join us on a 12 Month fixed term contract.
Purpose
To support the Cost Cap Financial Controller in managing all aspects of FIA F1 Financial Regulations compliance, reporting, and analysis for the F1 Chassis Cost Cap, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions.
Accountabilities
- Financial Regulation Support
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial data in line with FIA F1 Financial Regulations.
- Support the population and maintenance of data within internal and external financial models and reporting tools.
- Help ensure key regulatory deadlines are met through effective planning and communication.
- Maintain and update master data within internal controlling systems.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Contribute to the preparation of internal reports for stakeholders regarding cost cap performance.
- Assist in the organisation and management of documentation related to financial regulation compliance.
- Support the creation of audit trails and evidence packs for regulatory submissions.
- Compliance & Audit
- Assist in internal compliance testing of transactions to ensure adherence to FIA F1 Financial Regulations.
- Support the coordination and preparation for external regulatory audits.
- Help identify and elevate potential compliance risks or issues.
- Planning & Forecasting
- Contribute to the planning and forecasting processes for cost cap-related financials.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts for internal review.
Essential Competencies
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- High MS Excel competency.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in financial controlling or regulatory environments desirable.
- Confident communicator with clear written and verbal skills.
- SAP experience advantageous.
- MS Power Query and/or MS Power BI experience advantageous.
- Demonstrates Red Bull brand values and a proactive, collaborative approach.
