We’re seeking a Production Controller to manage the daily requirements of the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Group, ensuring the department’s workload is planned for the upcoming shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily production schedule for the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Group, ensuring all jobs are planned, scheduled, and achievable.
- Ensure availability of materials to complete scheduled jobs, liaising with buyers and manufacturing leaders as needed.
- Collaborate with the RBAT Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to understand workload and resource capacity, maintaining accurate manufacturing systems.
- Control workflow administration, engineer job routings with operational timings, and manage bill of materials, shortages, and component tracking.
- Liaise with Team Leaders and Production Controllers to reschedule or outsource tasks when capacity is reached, avoiding delays.
- Work with the Production & Workflow Coordinator to assess part/project delivery and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain data integrity within parts control systems and warehouse locations.
- Demonstrate technical understanding and mechanical assembly competence, including interpreting drawings and following procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic business systems.
