Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation in software engineering principles and a keen interest in developing scalable, high-quality applications using modern technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks as required.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile activities.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Familiarity with web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Desirable Skills & Experience (Bonus):
- Experience with or exposure to C# / .NET, SQL Server, Angular (or other modern front-end frameworks).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working on academic or personal projects using the above technologies.
Education & Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (2:1 or above preferred).
