Red Bull Technology have exciting opportunities for undergraduate students to spend a year as part of our F1 Vehicle Dynamics team. The placements will run from summer of 2026 for one year and offer the opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in an open and dynamic environment.
Based on our Milton Keynes campus, this Terrain Modelling placement opportunity will allow the successful candidate will develop skills in problem solving, creativity, teamwork, planning, innovation and communication whilst performing the following tasks:
- Maintain and develop simulator circuit models
- Validation of circuit models against track data
- Working closely on problem solving with simulator group
- Test and validate simulator circuit models
- Provide real-time event support
To be considered for this role, you will preferably:
- Studying a degree in Games or Digital Media
- Have experience with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
- Have experience with 3D modelling software such as 3DS Max
- Possess a good grasp of game content creation
- Have examples of your work through an online portfolio or mod forum
Key Attributes of the successful candidate:
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow best practice and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment
- Hands-on approach to problem solving
- Ability to logically and methodically investigate faults and failures
