We have an exciting opportunity starting September 2026 for an Apprentice within our Model Shop Team. Working from our state-of-the-art campus in Milton Keynes, you will be immersed into the heart of our manufacturing facility which includes some of the industry’s most impressive technology, supporting the manufacturing and testing of Wind Tunnel Model components.

As part of our open minded, dynamic & inclusive environment, working alongside our championship winning team, not only will you gain specialist skills but also a Level 3 qualification all whilst making a valuable contribution to our success.

As a Model Maker Apprentice, you will play a hands-on role in the precise manufacture of wind tunnel model components used in engineering development and aerodynamic testing. You’ll learn to work to exceptionally high standards, develop strong manual and technical skills, and contribute to the production of industry-leading models.

Your role:

  • Produce and finish prototype components to an exceptional standard, focusing on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply post-processing techniques for SLA and SLS 3D-printed parts to achieve precise and consistent results.
  • Support mould making and casting activities, developing practical skills used in high-quality model fabrication.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by adopting new processes, learning new tools and systems, and providing constructive feedback to enhance overall efficiency.

To be considered you will need:

  • 5 GCSE's grade 9 - 4 (A*- C) including Maths, English and Science
  • A passion for winning, with a good working ethic and willingness to learn
  • Team spirit, creativity, sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency
  • Able to travel daily to our Milton Keynes Campus
