We are looking for an Assembly Group Production Controller to manage the daily requirements of the Drivetrain Sub-assembly & Hydraulics (DTSA/HYDS) group, ensuring the department’s workload is planned for the following day/shift, providing a clear, unambiguous and achievable production plan for each required assembly whilst understanding & controlling their capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- To administrate and manage the daily production schedule for the DTSA/HYDS group. Ensuring all jobs are planned, scheduled, kitted and achievable.
- Ensure all material is available to complete jobs within the composite assembly department for the given schedule and confirm if required through liaison with buyers/manufacturing group leaders.
- Work closely with the DTSA/HYDS Group Leaders throughout the shift to understand and manage workload and deliverables with their resource/capacity and ensure the manufacturing business system is kept live & accurate.
- To liaise with the Manufacturing/Assembly Groups & Production controllers when department capacity is reached to reschedule/outsource tasks avoiding any delay to the assembly delivery schedule.
- Work closely with the Assembly Group Workflow and Engineering Coordinators to understand part/project delivery and assess whether on/off plan and elevate accordingly if required.
- Attend all necessary production control status meetings and provide feedback/comment on group progress.
- Maintain data integrity and content accuracy within the parts control systems and group warehouse locations at all times.
