Red Bull Technology have an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate to join our IT Service Desk team based in Milton Keynes. You will be a valued member of the team, integrated into the day-to-day client support activities of our technical support team, helping to maintain and optimise our internal systems.

This placement offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, and to understand how an IT department supports business demands to achieve its goals.

You’ll need to be highly analytical with excellent problem-solving IT skills. Strong communication is essential, as you’ll be interacting with people across various levels of the business. The role is technically hands-on, with a strong culture of doing what needs to be done.

You’ll work both autonomously and collaboratively, gaining exposure to a wide range of services and technologies including:

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for identity and access management

  • Microsoft Intune for device management and endpoint security

  • Microsoft Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr/SCCM) for software deployment and patching

  • Jamf Pro for managing Apple macOS and iOS devices

  • Virtualisation platforms and mobile device management tools

Main Accountabilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service with strong communication skills

  • Act as a first point of contact on the Service Desk, handling IT-related issues via telephone, email, and desktop support

  • Build relationships and collaborate with teams across the business

  • Support and manage critical business applications and tools

  • Apply a technical approach to problem solving

  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and virtual machines

  • Proactively identify and propose opportunities to improve processes and systems

  • Assist with inventory management of software, hardware, and other IT suppliers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Currently studying an IT-related degree

  • Passionate about technology and eager to learn

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Interest in enterprise IT environments and modern device management
