We’re looking for someone to provide proactive, collaborative Quality Engineering support across Electronics Test, Inspection, Manufacturing, Design, and external suppliers to ensure a consistent flow of high‑quality parts.
You will build strong relationships, promote a quality‑driven approach, and support continuous improvement in performance and capability, while working closely with the Electronics Supplier Quality Engineer to develop and implement enhanced quality assurance processes.
We are looking for someone who can
- Deliver and maintain quality assurance strategies across internal and external manufacturing in line with leadership direction.
- Monitor and report manufacturing quality performance using data‑driven and statistical methods.
- Manage NCRs and investigate issues, ensuring effective containment and resolution through structured problem‑solving.
- Drive non‑conformance resolution and supplier improvement using a risk‑based, prioritised approach.
- Conduct audits and lead risk reduction activities, including data‑led improvement projects and PFMEAs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support design for manufacture, onboard suppliers, strengthen processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing engineering or quality, with a strong electronics background.
- Proven use of preventative quality tools (DFM, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans) and structured problem‑solving methods (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Is/Is Not).
- Understanding of inspection techniques and equipment, with auditing experience desirable.
- Work collaboratively across all levels, building strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers while aligning with organisational values.
- Communicate effectively across the business, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
