For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.
We have a new vacancy, within the Production Control Group, for a Composite Workflow Coordinator. Within this role, the successful candidate will manage the Workflow process and Project delivery timelines for the Composite Department. Raising orders efficiently and effectively, ensuring all parts carry an authentic build structure, bill of material properties and visibility. Providing a clear, unambiguous and achievable routing for each required part and assembly.
Work closely with the Laminating Production Controller and the Composite Assembly Production Controller to ensure the departments’ workloads are planned for the following day/shift, whilst understanding & controlling future load constraints. In line with agreed quantities and in accordance to production control and business priorities.
Reporting to the Production Control Team Manager, the successful applicant will be Epicor (or similar business system) fluent, used to working to challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment and knowledge of the Turnaround demands on the business. Whilst prior experience in a similar role is not essential, the successful applicant will need excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The person will have the ability to work closely within an already established, tight-knit team. Excellent communication skills are a must for this role.
