For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled 5-axis Machinist to join and contribute to the success of our Championship Winning Team. In this role, you’ll set and operate multi-axis machine centres to produce high-quality components efficiently, maximising machine utilisation and minimising costs. You’ll collaborate with team members to meet priorities and deadlines, programme and operate various machine tools, inspect components and correct deviations. The role will involve the production and inspection of a variety of unique machined components, to a very high standard, in a range of materials including titanium, aluminium, and hardened steels.

We’re looking for someone with experience using Heidenhain or Siemens NC Code and Controls, skilled in machining various materials, and able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. You should be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and flexible for additional shifts. This is a 12 Month FTC with a 4x4 shift pattern.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including an on-site gym, fitness classes, daily food allowance, and free hot drinks. You’ll be part of a team contributing to championship-winning cars.
