We're looking for someone to manage and maintain the Electronics Department's documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available across Design, Test & Inspection, and Manufacturing teams.
You will identify and address gaps, duplication, and inefficiencies in documentation, design standards, and codes of practice, helping to improve consistency and streamline processes.
A strong understanding of the electronics product lifecycle, from concept through to vehicle delivery, is essential, along with proficiency in key business systems and software such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Team Planner, Epicor, and Microsoft Project.
We are looking for someone who can
- Develop and implement best-practice documentation processes, tools, and standards to support the Electronics function.
- Manage the review and approval of new and updated documentation, ensuring consistency and appropriate stakeholder sign-off.
- Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Electronics Standards across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver user-focused documentation solutions.
- Maintain and enhance design standards, processes, and guidance materials to support Design, Manufacturing, Test & Inspection activities.
The successful candidate will have
- Create, maintain, and review high-quality documentation that is accurate, accessible, up to date, and free from duplication.
- Manage documentation and tool-related activities, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and compliance with standards.
- Investigate and resolve documentation and process issues, driving improvements that support design and manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support, working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders while demonstrating strong communication and innovation.
