RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a portfolio of RedBull UK athletes, ensuring alignment with brand values and strategy.
Identify and scout new talent to maintain a world-class roster.
Lead athlete onboarding in line with RedBull’s Athlete Marketing philosophy.
Set clear performance goals and targets for each athlete.
Develop, deliver, and evaluate athlete-led projects and campaigns.
Negotiate athlete contracts, including performance expectations and commercial rights.
Collaborate with athlete support networks (“circle of trust”) to maximise brand outcomes.
Ensure athletes understand and communicate RedBull’s product benefits credibly.
Report regularly on athlete performance and brand/business impact.
Contribute to the national Athlete Marketing Strategy to meet broader business goals.
Develop 365 activation plans including marketing, communications, and performance activity.
Own and manage athlete-led projects and associated budgets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Media Network, Field Marketing, Sales, and other departments to amplify athlete impact.
Ensure visibility of athlete opportunities across the business through timely, engaging communication.
Lead creativity and innovation within the athlete team.
Develop and execute unique, disruptive ideas and formats that elevate the athlete and the RedBull brand.
Drive \”sport-changing\” projects that combine performance, culture and storytelling.
Build strong internal relationships to maximise athlete impact across departments.
Be the athlete team’s central point of contact while fostering transparency and collaboration across Marketing.
Champion a culture of openness and innovation.
Support the wider Sports and Marketing teams in pushing boundaries and exploring emerging sports trends.
Contribute to annual athlete business planning with a strategic mindset and a clear focus on ROI.
Foster deep understanding of the UK sporting landscape within the team.
- Previous experience in Sports Marketing, ideally with direct athlete and event marketing exposure.
- Deep understanding of sports management, culture, and industry dynamics.
- Strong influencing skills with experience engaging diverse sporting stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills including public speaking, training, and interpersonal influence.
- Proven project management and budget ownership.
- High attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Active understanding and use of social media in the sporting context.
- Creativity and originality in concept development.
- Passion for sport, innovation, and RedBull’s brand values.
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
