Overview
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Editor to be responsible for the delivery of high quality, trending social media video output specific for the short-form social media channels of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team. They will work alongside the wider Digital team, creating short-form edits to support all areas of the business, and will be dedicated to the editing and delivery of social first content for publishing across our social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver short-form video content for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels.
- Optimise videos for each platform\\\’s technical specifications, ensuring quality and consistency. Create short-form content with the purpose of driving to long-form content, such as our YouTube channel. Assist with live-event coverage, turning around edits quickly under time-sensitive conditions.
- Work closely with the wider Digital team to ideate, storyboard, and execute innovative video concepts that drive engagement.
- Ensure all content reflects the team\\\’s creative direction, brand guidelines, and tone of voice. Monitor social media and industry trends to ensure content is relevant, competitive, and platform-appropriate.
- Collaborate with videographers, photographers, designers, and content managers to ensure timely delivery of content across race weekends, events, and key campaigns.
- Archive, organise, and manage video assets to maintain an efficient and accessible content library. Review and curate the team\\\’s video archives, identify opportunities for reactivation and repurposing, and deliver optimised edits to ensure a consistent flow of evergreen creative content across our channels. Support the team with posting to social media platforms when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media content creation.
- Expert in social-first video editing, especially 9:16 vertical formats, with strong motion graphics skills.
- Familiar with content workflows, delivery pipelines, and content management processes.
- Passionate about social media storytelling and engaging creative content.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Adaptable, open-minded, and positive; embraces new challenges and technologies.
- Confident in building relationships with stakeholders and collaborating across teams.
- Works quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards, iterating independently when needed.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder), Grading and sound design.
- Requirement to shoot phone content when at races or events.
- Travel 40-50%.
