We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to be responsible for the delivery of highly engaging, on trend content for the Team as a whole and for filming and creating high-quality videos for the VCARB Team and its wider stakeholders. They will be required to ideate, plan, shoot and edit content that will increase the audience and interaction on our managed channels and the traffic and loyalty on our owned channels, and in overall charge of striving for boundary-pushing levels of creativity and innovation as part of a wider in-house production team.

Responsibilities

  • Ideation, shooting, and editing of engaging, channel-optimized video content.
  • Creation of various video formats including short-form social media, showreels, and medium to long-form content. Overseeing live content during race weekends, including social media updates and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Handling race-by-race content requests from the marketing team, ensuring timely collaboration with production counterparts.
  • Working under tight deadlines for quick execution of content to maximize channel opportunities.
  • Keeping the team\\\’s footage archive organised and up to date to ensure easy access to any relevant footage.
  • Spotting and adopting new content trends to establish a social footprint among target audiences.
  • Analyzing engagement metrics and feedback to refine strategies for enhanced audience interaction.
  • Partnering with other departments (merchandising, engineering) to create content that reflects team values and innovations.
  • Collaborating with sponsors to develop co-branded content that aligns with shared objectives.
  • Brand storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives that convey the team\\\’s heritage and values through storytelling.
  • Platform-specific strategy: Tailoring content strategies for emerging platforms, focusing on their unique audience segments.
  • Crisis communication content: Developing content to manage responses to crises or controversies, maintaining brand reputation.
  • Sustainability advocacy: Highlighting the team\\\’s sustainability efforts and innovations to engage eco-conscious audiences and stakeholders.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • Proven experience of working in fast-paced environments.
  • An experienced camera operator, with an eye for strong visuals and brand awareness. Capable of working with professional sound equipment and lighting as needed in larger shoots;
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder), GradING and sound design;
  • Strong knowledge of social media deliverables and best practice. Multi-year experience delivering high quality edits to a deadline without supervision;
  • A keen understanding of branding and marketing strategies specific to F1, ensuring all content aligns with the team\\\’s identity and values, while also keeping a pulse on trending visual styles in motorsports;
  • Experience in developing content that fosters community building and fan engagement, creating opportunities for interactive experiences across digital platforms;
  • Ability to integrate content strategies with broader marketing and communication goals, ensuring alignment with the team\\\’s objectives for brand growth and visibility;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with effective organizational skills, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content under pressure;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to unexpected situations during race weekends and other events, producing timely and relevant content while managing potential PR challenges that arise;
  • Ability to work fast to a high standard, work with feedback and iterate ideas independently;
  • A high standard in motion graphics is desirable;
  • (Desirable not essential) Experience shooting with Sony cine cameras, in particular FX3.
  • Travel 40-50%.
