We have a new position available for a Deputy Manager in a therapeutic residential childrens home in Burton-on-Trent.
We\’re looking for someone who has experience as a Deputy Manager in this field, or perhaps a senior shift leader with aspirations to progress or possibly even an RM looking for a slight change of pace
You will be working alongside an experienced Registered Manager; helping to supervise and support the team in delivering exceptional care to the children, including developing care plans, fostering a positive environment for both children and the staff, by promoting teamwork and effective communication, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as relevant legislation.
We are looking for applicants who are driven and enthusiastic, with relevant supervisory experience and an understanding of working in an Ofsted-regulated environment. Aswell as being dynamic and resourceful, we are looking for people who understand the children/young person are the heart of any service.
Experience within Residential Childcare is ESSENTIAL (3 years minimum), aswell as child protection, relevant therapeutic or learning disability experience and supervision of staff teams.
We\’re also looking for a relevant qualification in the field of Residential Childcare.
