We're looking for a food-focused, guest centric General Manager for The Red Barn in Lingfield, where Surrey kisses Kent. This pub is full of character and has its home in a 500-year-old Barn. From the flagstones to the wooden beams and rafters and cosy fireplaces - this pub oozes traditional countryside beauty and charm.
This Lingfield institution prides itself on being a food-destination community focused pub, and comes complete with a number of stunning bookable spaces including the barn, a private dining room, a gorgeous garden and all sorts of nooks and crannies for family feasts, weddings, meetings or a few pints of ale by the fireside.
We are looking for a people-focused landlord who has experience working with fresh, seasonal food at volume for this absolute classic countryside pub.
Running a Pub for Young's: We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual and so we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu - and that doesn't mean picking from a bank of recipes! You tailor your offer to your guests and grow the business in line with your business vision! You decide what events and sales driving to do, what the team uniform is, and look after all your own recruitment and marketing.
