  • Working on design and front-end implementation within a cross-disciplinary team, through creation of design systems, style guides, prototypes, and other assets to bring product ideas to life.
  • Designing and facilitating workshops and design sprints.
  • Experimenting and making data-driven decisions for your designs, using Agile/Lean methodologies.
  • Driving continuous improvement and quality by championing design principles and the value they bring.
  • Engaging clients and your team to ensure the proposed design balances business goals and technical constraints in addition to user needs.
  • Leveraging AI-assisted tools and workflows to accelerate delivery while ensuring consistency and quality throughout.

As a collaborative leader, you will:

  • Influence stakeholders and get early buy-in for the design process and the outcomes.
  • Coach your team and clients in Design Thinking, Lean, and Human-Centred Design.

To build Red Badger’s product capability, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of the product design discipline within Red Badger.
  • Support the development of Red Badger’s design approach and strategy.
  • Proactively share knowledge with the rest of the Product team, and help to foster a culture of valuable design critique.

Your experience should ideally include:

  • Working knowledge of industry-standard tools, such as Figma, plus an aptitude to learn and introduce new tools and methodologies.
  • Leading product design implementation as part of a cross-functional team or programme, working closely with engineers, data insights, user researchers, and quality assurance disciplines.
  • Experience leading design activities on a project, presenting design concepts to stakeholders and running workshops.
  • Designed mobile-first, responsive, and mobile-native digital products.

  • Deep understanding of Brand application, UI design, and design systems such as Atomic design.
  • Working knowledge of User research and User testing, including preparing stimulus and moderating sessions when required.
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted design workflows, including tools and integrations that connect design to code, e.g. Figma-to-Storybook pipelines via MCP or automated component documentation, with demonstrable hands-on experience of putting these into practice.

It’d be amazing if you could also:
