Investment Bank in the City is looking for a Project Programme Specialist to come on board and provide support to the CSO. You will play a significant role in planning and delivering initiatives across the workforce and wider business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a real interest in investment banking, ambitious and eager to learn.
Key duties:
- Provide support to the CSO with coordinating and tracking project and initiatives.
- Maintain and track multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones and actions are clearly documented and monitored.
- Preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior stakeholders and leaders.
- Liaising with teams and internal stakeholders across the business for information and updates in a timely manner.
- Maintain project documentation registers and logs in line with company standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes.
- Support of new tools and platforms which streamline and enhance productivity.
The ideal candidate:
- At least two years previous experience in a similar role for a company with high-growth operations.
- Excellent organisation skills and able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at any one time.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and the ability to produce high quality documentation and materials – high attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
- Interest and awareness of AI platforms and tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
- Experience of using project and tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello or MS Project.
- Data manipulation and visualisation tools.
- Able to take initiative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Proactive, real problem solver and solutions orientated.
- Real team player and able to build up trust quickly at levels within the business.
- Thrives in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Have a real interest in investment banking, ambitious, with a desire to learn and develop a career in this field.
