A boutique IT tech Recruitment company based near Liverpool Street have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager. If you are a highly organised, people-first operator who thrives on making things run beautifully, this could be the perfect company for you to join.

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team — someone who can lead from the front, drive continuous improvement, and be the backbone of a fast-moving, people-focused business.

The role As Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of everything our client does. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of the operational engine that keeps the business running smoothly — from HR and compliance through to finance, technology, and supplier management. This is a broad, hands‑on role with real variety, genuine impact, and plenty of scope to make it your own. You'll manage and develop the Operations Team, coordinate cross‑functional projects, and act as a trusted strategic partner to the MD.

If you love problem‑solving, building systems that work, and creating a workplace where people genuinely thrive — this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing You’ll take responsibility for a wide and varied remit, including:

  • Keeping the business fully compliant with employment legislation, GDPR, APSCO, and CIPD standards — proactively monitoring changes and updating policies, contracts, and the Company Handbook as needed
  • Managing the full onboarding journey for new team members, ensuring smooth inductions and a positive first experience
  • Leading internal and external recruitment — from social media campaigns through to selection, offers, and third‑party supplier coordination
  • Creating a high‑quality, well‑organised working environment, with robust Health & Safety procedures in place
  • Overseeing contractor onboarding and compliance, managing Umbrella Company relationships, and maintaining rigorous audit standards
  • Building strong client relationships to support a smooth PO and timesheeting process, and acting as an escalation point when needed
  • Managing supplier payments, producing management reports, and tracking performance against targets
  • Serving as Bullhorn CRM SuperUser — driving best practice, coordinating training, and continuously improving functionality to support the sales team
  • Evaluating and managing all third‑party suppliers across IT, telecoms, and beyond — always looking for better solutions and stronger ROI
  • Coordinating brand templates, client presentations, management packs, and candidate documentation across the business

Who we’re looking for You’ll be a confident, calm, and commercially minded operator with a track record in a similar role. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple functions, managing a small team, and keeping a lot of plates spinning without dropping any. Strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a genuine passion for operational excellence are all essential. Experience with Bullhorn or a similar CRM would be a real advantage, as would familiarity with recruitment industry compliance standards.

Why our client? This is a genuinely varied role in a close‑knit, ambitious team. You'll have real autonomy, direct access to senior leadership, and the opportunity to shape the way the business operates. If you're looking for a role where your contribution truly matters — we'd love to hear from you. 2 days working from home and a half day on Friday. Red Anchor is an equal opportunity recruitment agency.
