Workshop Service Engineer Salary Β£30-36k Based Huddersfield A Mechanical Fitter / Service Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in the Huddersfield area. As a Serice Engineer your main function of this role will be to strip, clean and identify repairs on a range of customers pumps. You will then carry out necessary repairs and tests on the equipment. There will be further general workshop duties including drilling, tapping and basic bench fitting. Candidates will have a proven background as a Service Engineer or Mechanical Fitter. You will have a strong technical understanding of centrifugal pumps or similar rotating equipment. You will have experience in reading engineering drawings. Whilst this role is predominantly workshop based, occasional site work might also be required
