A Workshop Support Operative is required to assist operations within a heavy mechanical assembly/production environment. The company designs and manufactures large pumps, and within this position, you will support production and test activities. This will include assisting in the pressure testing of various pump components in line with production/build requirements.

You will assist in the rigging and derigging of test arrangements. Other general operations may include the clean down, paint touch up, and preparation of pumps for dispatch.

Candidates will have experience gained within a similar heavy mechanical assembly environment. Forklift truck or overhead crane qualifications would be advantageous. You must be able to work as part of a team but also work independently when required.
