A Mechanical Fitter is required for a busy engineering company based in the Huddersfield area.

As a Workshop Fitter, your main function of this role will be to strip, clean and identify repairs on a range of customers' pumps. You will then carry out necessary repairs and tests on the equipment. There will be further general workshop duties including drilling, tapping and basic bench fitting.

Candidates will have a proven background as a Mechanical Fitter. You will have a strong technical understanding of pumps or similar rotating equipment. You will have experience in reading engineering drawings.

Whilst this role is predominantly workshop based, occasional site work might also be required.
