If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives, build a long-term career and receive excellent training, this could be worth a look. We've worked with this organisation for years and have seen many of the people we've placed progress into senior and management positions. They're now recruiting multiple Employment Specialists across Swindon, Warminster and Chippenham.
The role involves supporting people with health conditions or disabilities to move towards and into employment. You'll manage your own caseload, build relationships with local employers and help people achieve goals that can have a lasting impact on their lives. This isn't a desk-based role. You'll be out in the community, meeting participants, employers and partner organisations across your area. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and getting out from behind a screen, you'll probably enjoy this.
Full training is provided, so we're open to people from a range of backgrounds. You might currently be working as an Employment Advisor, Recruitment Consultant, Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Housing Officer, Work Coach, or in any role where you've supported people to achieve goals.
The role is target-focused, with performance measures linked to the IPS Fidelity Model, so you'll need to be comfortable managing your own workload, working towards outcomes and building strong relationships.
This is a permanent, full-time role paying £29,556 - £30,727 depending on experience. You'll be based across either Swindon, Warminster or Chippenham, working in the community rather than from home. A driving licence is highly desirable and essential for some locations.
Interviews will take place in Devizes and will include an interview, presentation exercise and short written task. Please apply via this advert; we aim to respond to everyone. If you haven't heard back within 72 hours, please complete the Send Us A Message form on the Contact Us page of the Red 5 People website, and we guarantee a real person will respond. For more details about the role, please call the office and ask for James (number available on the Red 5 People website).
Please note: Salary scale is £29,500 - £33,000. However, the starting salary will be either £29,500 or £30,700 (DOE).
