Are you an experienced employment advisor or someone with similar experience looking for a community based role where you can have a direct impact on vulnerable individuals back into employment? Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.

Youll be trained as an IPS Employment Specialist, working in the community to support people with health conditions or disabilities back into employment. Rather than being office-based, youll hot-desk across various partner sites such as Job Centres, Council Offices, and NHS Trusts across Hampshire including Basingstoke, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Hayling Island and potentially Andover and Winchester.

Youll typically manage a caseload of around 25 participants, providing tailored employment support and working closely with employers to create the right opportunities. The salary for the role is £30K to £35K depending on experience.

Were looking for people who have either worked as an Employment Advisor before, or who have experience in a sales-focused role (such as recruitment or B2B sales), or experience supporting vulnerable clients to achieve goals. Youll be working with vulnerable individuals, so the charity classifies this as a high-risk environment. Its a challenging, community-based role where youll be managing your own diary, working to targets, and juggling multiple priorities.

Full training and ongoing support are provided, and while there is a high level of lone working, robust check-in systems are in place to ensure your safety. Being organised, resilient, and able to manage your own wellbeing is key.
