Looking for a role where you can see the impact of your work supporting people to break the cycle and build a better future? We are hiring a Rehabilitation Support Worker to join a respected charity working across Essex prisons and probation sites. This is a floating position, covering for team members on leave or absence so you'll step in to support clients already on caseloads, keeping their progress on track.
You will provide 1:1 support focused on resettlement helping people access housing, prepare for work, and take positive steps forward. You will also help them build motivation and confidence, and stay on top of agreed action plans.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in the justice system or with vulnerable clients (homelessness, addiction, mental health)
- Or, a criminology graduate with relevant voluntary experience
- Flexibility and confidence to work across different sites in Essex
This would suit someone who has worked as a resettlement worker, probation officer, housing support worker, or in employability or someone passionate about second chances and rehabilitation.
