We’re recruiting for two part-time Employment Advisors to join a forward-thinking charity delivering employment support across Shepherd’s Bush and Hammersmith & Fulham. These are fixed-term contracts running until mid-October, with an anticipated start date in early June.

The charity is delivering services as part of a DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) employment contract, responding to local Jobcentre Plus demand for additional support for long-term unemployed individuals in the area.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting initial appointments with participants at the Jobcentre.
  • Delivering follow-up 1:1 sessions in community settings such as libraries and community centres.
  • Managing a caseload of 20 job seekers, with the aim of supporting 10 individuals into paid employment over the contract period.
  • Providing tailored employability advice, including CV writing, job searching, interview preparation, and better-off-in-work calculations.

This is a community- and office-based role (remote or hybrid working is not available). Your part-time hours will need to fall within the Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm window—no evenings or weekends required. There is flexibility in how you structure your week: for example, you could work over four full days or five shorter days.

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll need prior experience supporting people back into work in a similar role—perhaps as an Employment Advisor, Work Coach, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, or Employment Consultant.

How to apply:

Please apply via this advert—we aim to respond to every applicant. If you don’t hear back within 72 hours, please complete the “Send Us a Message” form on the Red 5 People website and we’ll make sure a real person gets in touch. For further information, feel free to call the office and ask for James (contact details available on the Red 5 People website).
