Do you want to make a difference supporting long term unemployed people back into work? Then have you considered a role as an employment advisor, it is an incredibly rewarding role where no 2 days are the same.

The role is a 9 month maternity cover with the potential for an extension depending on caseload sizes.

  • Helping someone with their CV.
  • Coordinating vacancies with local employers who need help, ensuring your participants are a perfect fit.
  • Referring clients for additional support, such as self-employment advice or confidence building.
  • Discussing career aspirations and local opportunities with clients.

The project is based in Milton Keynes, and you will be part of a team of 14. The people you support are referred via the job centre, and at any one time, you will typically work with around 70 participants with a target of 5 into employment a month.
