Job Description Are you an experienced Team Leader who enjoys supporting teams, improving services and helping people achieve positive outcomes?\n \n Were currently looking for a Team Leader to join a well-established residential support service in Abingdon. n Please note: this is a 6 month FTC (subject to further extension or the role becoming permanent).\n The salary scale is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience).\n The role\n \n Youll work as part of the management team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service and providing leadership to a team of Recovery Workers.\A key part of your role will be helping staff understand and adapt to changes, providing clear leadership and making sure the team remains supported and focused throughout the process.\n \n Youll be encouraged to bring your own experience and ideas, while working closely with the wider management team to maintain a high-quality service.\Managing, supporting and developing a team of Recovery Workers. \Holding regular supervision and supporting staff with their professional development. \Coaching and motivating team members to achieve their objectives. \Monitoring team performance, targets and quality standards. \Supporting the implementation of new processes and ways of working. \Helping manage change positively and keeping the team engaged throughout periods of development. \Working with internal teams and external professionals to ensure effective support is provided. \Supporting with safeguarding, risk management, incidents and complaints where required. \Supporting recruitment, induction and staff training. \n \n What were looking for\n \n Were looking for someone with previous management or supervisory experience, ideally within mental health, social care, supported housing, health and social care or a similar setting.\What's important is that you can demonstrate that you know how to lead people, manage performance and create a positive team environment.\Strong communication and relationship-building skills. \nA Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent would be advantageous, although relevant management and sector experience will also be considered.\n Working hours\n \n Youll work 37 hours per week on a 3-week rolling rota, with 1 weekend in 3.\n \n The majority of shifts will be during the daytime, generally falling between 8am and 6pm.\n \n This is not ordinarily a night-shift position.
