Are you South London based and want to make a real difference by supporting people with SEN into work? We’ve placed a lot of people into this charity over the years, and they genuinely love working there. It’s a large, well-established organisation with strong training and genuine career progression.

They’ve recently launched a new long-term funded contract and are now recruiting an Employment Advisor covering South London boroughs of Sutton, Kingston and Merton. You’ll work as an Employment Specialist, supporting people with SEN into employment using the Supported Employment Quality Framework. This is a community-based role where you’ll hot-desk across sites including Job Centres, Council Offices, and Libraries. Travel between sites is paid.

You’ll manage a caseload of around 20 participants, providing tailored support and working with employers to create opportunities. Full training is provided, including shadowing experienced staff and ongoing support from your Team Leader.

We’re interested in people who have:

  • Employment Advisor experience
  • Recruitment, sales, or B2B experience
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people
  • Or relevant graduate/voluntary experience

This is a busy, target-driven role involving lone working in the community, so organisation, resilience, and good time management are important.

Please note:

  • Permanent, full-time role Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Community-based role (no home working)
  • You must live within reasonable travelling distance of Sutton, Kingston and Merton.
  • Start date expected around 4 weeks from offer
