You will be joining an award-winning regeneration charity in London, making a real difference to the environment and people’s lives. The project you will be working on supports vulnerable Londoners who are at risk of being impacted by rising energy costs. This includes advice on accessing grants, switching energy suppliers, assessing damp and mould, and improving insulation.
You will work as part of a small team of two. The Team Manager oversees the on-the-ground delivery staff who visit homes, while you will be responsible for managing key partners and funders who support the programme. Funders may include a local authority, the GLA, ESF, or a housing association. Each funder will have expectations for what should be achieved with the funding, typically linked to outcomes such as the number of homes visited, impact made, or energy costs saved. You will be responsible for managing these relationships and reporting on progress against targets.
You will also need to be comfortable working with numbers, as the role includes manipulating large data sets, producing financial claims, and monitoring performance reports. Previous experience in this area is useful, but not essential if you have a good baseline understanding, as a finance team is available to support.
You must have previously worked in a role where you have managed, or been accountable to, external funders and produced performance reporting.
