Are you an experienced housing professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? We're recruiting for a Supported Housing Manager to oversee a busy supported housing service, leading a dedicated team and ensuring people with mental health needs receive safe, high-quality, recovery-focused support. The Role

As Supported Housing Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a supported housing service, ensuring high standards of service delivery while supporting both your team and the people accessing the service. You'll manage a team of 5 Recovery Workers and 1 Administrator, providing leadership, coaching and guidance to help deliver positive outcomes. Working closely with local partners and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in maintaining service quality, developing partnerships and ensuring contractual standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of a supported housing service.
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team through regular supervision and coaching.
  • Ensure high-quality assessments, support planning and recovery-focused interventions are delivered.
  • Monitor service quality, compliance and performance against agreed targets.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
  • Manage resources effectively and support continuous service improvement.
  • Promote safeguarding, health and safety and inclusive practice across the service.
  • Use performance information to identify opportunities to improve outcomes.

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Experience working within supported housing, housing services or a similar environment.
  • Previous management experience or significant experience leading teams, projects or service development.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and make confident operational decisions.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding, quality standards and performance management.
  • Previous experience as a Supported Housing Manager is desirable but not essential.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Occasional flexibility may be required to support operational needs. Participation in a paid on-call rota once established in post. There are no night shifts associated with this role.
