Are you a Psychology, Criminology, Education, Sociology or Social Sciences graduate looking to build a career in the charity sector?

We’re recruiting for a large, established charity launching a brand-new, long-term funded employment programme, where you’ll support people with mental health support needs to find and sustain work.

We are recruiting for roles across Barnet, Brent and Hillingdon.

You’ll be trained as an IPS Employment Specialist, managing a caseload of around 25 people.

You’ll provide one-to-one support while also approaching local employers to identify job opportunities.

It’s a community-based role, working across NHS services, Job Centres, council offices and other partner locations.

What we're looking for You don't need previous Employment Advisor experience, but you must have at least 6 months' experience in either:

A target-driven role where you were personally accountable for results – such as sales, recruitment or business development; OR A role supporting people one-to-one to achieve goals – such as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Mentor or Youth Worker.

Full training is provided through online learning, shadowing and support from your Team Leader.

Please note: This is a permanent, full-time, community-based role with no home working.

You’ll need to live within approximately one hour of Hillingdon, Brent or Barnet.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Travel during the working day is paid.
