We are looking for a kind, active and reliable Carer to support a young lady with special needs who lives independently in her own home in Lancaster.
A staff room is provided for on‑site carers.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a friendly team providing day‑to‑day support and companionship. Duties include:
- Accompanying the client on trips and outings
- Supporting her with daily activities
- Helping with light household tasks
- Encouraging independence and fun in daily life
We’re looking for someone who
- Is caring, patient, and has a great sense of humour
- Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative
- Ideally has experience in care (training provided if not)
- Holds a full, clean driving licence (a car is provided)
- Lives locally to South Lancaster and can reliably commute to the client’s home
Hours & Pay
- Shifts available: 24‑hour, day, and evening shifts
- Pay: National Minimum Wage (£12.21 per hour aged 21 plus)
- Leave: Six weeks’ annual leave (pro rata)

- Must be local to Lancaster
- Two professional references
