There is a full-time and a part-time role available. You will teach functional skills English and Maths, embedding employability and life skills, and have dedicated time for planning and admin work each week, working 3 days a week from 9-5. For full-time, it is 3 days a week teaching and 2 days a week planning & admin.
The programme you work on blends education and work experience, preparing learners for employment. You will deliver teaching and have allocated time for admin & lesson prep or liaising with the wider stakeholders (such as coordinating with employers, family, or job coaches who support the young people on their placements).
You must have either a Level 3 (PTLLS) or a Level 5 (DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) teaching qualification. Please note the salary for a Level 3 teaching qualification is £17,878 (£29,798 full-time equivalent) and for Level 5 teaching qualification it is £19,203 (£32,005 full-time equivalent).
