Do you have experience of being involved in the EHCP process? Would you like to join a charity that supports young people with SEN needs into coordinated work experience placements alongside educational support? This charity is a great employer. Young people aged 16–25 join the programme and receive around 30% classroom-based learning focused on functional and work-related skills, alongside approximately 70% work-based internships gaining experience with employers. EHCPs must be adhered to throughout.
Responsibilities
- Assessing EHCPs for potential new learners to the programme to ensure needs can be met
- Organising EHCP reviews
- Ensuring EHCPs are being implemented with learners by coordinating with the wider team
- Working closely with Local Authorities, parents, and other key stakeholders
- Overseeing the annual pipeline of new learners and networking regularly with key referral partners
This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. The position is 100% office-based in Walsall.
