Are you a qualified teacher experienced with SEN and autism? Interested in helping individuals with learning disabilities and autism? Maybe an experienced SEN Teaching assistant looking for a step up.

There is a full time and a part time role available. You’ll teach functional skills English and Maths, embedding employability and life skills and have dedicated time for planning and admin work each week working 3 days a week 9-5. For full time it is 3 days a week teaching 2 days a week planning admin.

The program you work on blends education and work experience, preparing learners for employment. You will be based in Barnet. You will deliver teaching and have allocated time for admin lesson prep or liaising with the wider stakeholders (such as coordinating with employers, family, or job coaches who support the young people on their placements).

You must have either a Level 3 (PTLLS) or a level 5 (DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) teaching qualification. Please note the salary for a Level 3 teaching qualification is ÂŁ17,878 (ÂŁ29,798 full time equivalent) and for Level 5 teaching qualification it is ÂŁ19,203 (ÂŁ32,005 full time equivalent). If successful you will be put through your level 3 and level 5 if you don't already have them.
