We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading national charity supporting people affected by mental health challenges, substance misuse, housing issues and multiple disadvantage. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader to oversee services across London, supporting managers and ensuring services remain safe, effective and high performing.
You’ll provide operational leadership across multiple services, working closely with Service Managers, senior leaders and external partners. The role involves supporting service performance, managing operational risk and helping teams deliver positive outcomes for people accessing support. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone confident managing complex services and multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee services across the London region.
- Support and develop Service Managers and teams.
- Ensure services remain compliant and high quality.
- Manage operational risk and service performance.
- Build strong relationships with commissioners and partners.
- Support service improvement and stability.
You’ll have leadership experience within one or more of the following:
- Substance misuse services.
- Mental health services.
- Supported housing.
- Homelessness or complex needs services.
You should also have:
- Experience managing multiple services or teams.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance.
- Experience working with stakeholders and commissioners.
- Understanding of current drug/alcohol policy or supported accommodation services.
- A management qualification (Level 5 or equivalent experience).
